Today is not one of those Sunday’s where I get up, do the whole pre- breakfast hoopla and go to the bakery. Today the pre- breakfast stretches out over 3 days cause we’re baking our own buns!! I found a recipe, bought all the ingredients and got the pizza oven running.
Friday: pre- pre- breakfast

Saturday: pre- breakfast pt. 1
ingredients for 5 buns:
- 5G YEAST
- 260 ML COLD WATER
- 1 TSP FINE SEA SALT ∙
- 100ML OATS
- 0.5 TBS AGAVE SYRUP
- 1 TBS OLIVE OIL
- 300 G SIEVED SPELLED FLOUR
Dissolve the yeast in cold water. Add the salt, oil, syrup, oats, and stir. Add the flour and knead the dough until smooth. Cover the bowl and place in the refrigerator overnight.
Sunday: pre- breakfast pt. 2
Let’s just not mention the fact that I slept for 4 hours and that I’ve been up since 4am. It’s now 8 and first thing’s first, we gotta open the advent calender. December really is the best month of the year. The Christmas music is on (probably annoying my neighbors- schönen ersten Advent euch, eure Pakete stehen immer noch in meiner Wohnung, ihr habt bis Mittwoch dann guck ich rein!) and the advent chocolate has been eaten and greatly enjoyed!
Set the oven to 210 degrees. Make five rolls, and place them on a baking tray lined with greaseproof paper. Here’s a tip: wet your hands.
Place the baking tray in the oven and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden. Leave to cool on a rack before serving. (In a pizza oven it takes about 80 minutes 🙂 so that was a fun morning of only starving a little bit).
While the buns are in the oven (lol) we set the table. Put some fir on there, some biscuits and the advent candle (obvs).
Excuse the very summery outfit I was sweating cause my neighbor thinks he lives in Alaska and always turns up the heat to its absolute max.
Breakfast

this looks like the last supper. Where’re my apostles at?
Wait a second. Got an idea.

blonde amputee (bon appétit) I felt the need to explain that one cause it’s on a whole new level of stupid. Hope you didn’t throw up all the buns because of that last gif.
