I only had to be at the office at 11 and I didn’t set an alarm so I could really sleep in and have a chilled morning. What time do I wake up? 6. So that was fun. But it also gave me lots of time for the make up routine post, so I took a shower had breakfast (sultanas, rasins, cranberry and apple fruit porridge) and then took about a hundred pictures getting ready. So instead of my usual 10 minute make up routine it now was a 40 minute make up routine. When I was done I still had some time left before I had to head out the door, and because I never procrastinate (🤥) I started deleting (so much deleting) and editing. After awhile I couldn’t see those pictures anymore, it’s hard starring at your own faces for hours. I’m pretty sure that was the most stressful work I’ve done in weeks. But it turned out pretty sick so go check it out.
This blog is also serving some daffodil/ yellow realness now, but when there is no sun outside you kinda have to create your own. And yellow is my favorite color.
At 11am I went to the office to meet the new intern. A girl from France. Yes I had french in school for 7 years. Oui bien sûr je parle français. Yes I looked that up on google translate. I don’t even have my own computer anymore because a guy from accomodations is using it so now I can’t even do the little work I did before, and literally just sit on my phone. The new girl is nice, doesn’t speak much English tho. Actually, she doesn’t speak much at all. So yeah don’t really know. Going to the Laser Zone again son, so I’m exited about that! I hope my favorite people are coming.
After the new intern left, she only got a tour of the school and starts tomorrow, I went downstairs to make myself a coffee. That’s when one of the Ladys from the office comes down and tells me I can leave if I want to because it’s a bank holiday. And that’s what I hoped would happen but didn’t want to say anything. And that is also how I ended up spending 30 quid on a sweater. I went to the North Laines aka my fave Laines and some how ended up in Beyond Retro again. I tried on a couple of Mom Jeans (luckily) none of them fit. I even wore Tommy Hilfiger for a short period of time (2 minutes) but they looked ridiculous on me! I did however buy a cropped knitted jumper that makes me feel like I live in the 80s. I already texted my mom saying I could photoshop myself into her old photos in that outfit. Becuase it was raining I was back home quite quickly and continued editing the pictures for that bloody make up post.
Dinner was delicious somehow! Last time I used everything that was in my fridge it tasted kinda weirs. But today omg! Here, combine these things and you get a delicious meal. And I did eat before 5 because I was soo hungry and pretty sure my 1 portion would normally be 2.
