I woke up at 5:45 and that put me in a well good mood because it wasn’t 4 and I slept for approx 9 hours! So yeah woke up had a shower and stayed in bed some more. At 7 I had breakfast. $0 for anyone who can guess what I had. After that I was still hungry af but I legit only had half a celeriac in my fridge (the summerberries oats are gone woohoo!!) But because waitrose only opens at 11 on sundays I had to suffer a bit and drank a shit-ton of water. Which is good because a) it’s healthy, b) you’re supposed to get nice skin and c) workout is included because you have to wee every 10 minutes.
At 10:30 I went down to the beach just to see a 1000 people running a marathon, and that was the point I took a picture, made a professional 180 degree turn and walked back. Honestley it was like a zombie apocalypse. I found an organic store called taj which was open already and they had some stuff that was on my list. So I spent £15 there which is A LOT for like 3 items. But organic and healthy I guess.
When I get bored of the vegan diet I’ll do a McDonald’s diet so everything’s £1. Anyway, the genius that I am I brought my list and a pencil to check everything and I can highly recommend this action. So now I spent 60 quit so that I won’t starve..great… For lunch I obviously had to try out some new stuff I bought so I had bread (a different kind of bread, okay?) one with vegan(!) cream cheese and cherry jam, the other with peanut butter and strawberry jam and I also cut some mango.
After eating lunch I sat in my ikea camp chair and watched some youtube before noticing that my tongue was growing. And that’s when I realized I JUST ATE PEANUTS. Turns out I’m allergic so fuck you pb&j. 4 quit for nothing. I feel better now tho, I will survive- I think. But it’s only 1 so if you see this I will have survived if not then RIP me.
Oh yes I also accidentaly bought 3 cups of houmous that all run out of date on the 3rd of March. And that might seem far away, but remember that February only has 28 days. So happy houmous to me.
Excuse the quality of the pictures by the way, I’m not saying they were ever good but these are especially bad. I was just to lazy and people kept coming into the kitchen so I wasn’t going to nicely spread out my groceries onto the kitchen counter for one picture, you get the gist just as well like this.
The rest of the day I will most likely enjoy the beautiful weather by looking up from my phone and out of the window every few minutes, with the radiator on, covered in both blankets I own, while listening to music. Turns out working is exhausting, and I’m not even doing much. Respect to all parents that work 9-5 and then come home to kids screaming and wanting stuff. If anyone even talks to me after 5 I will most likely have to take a deep breath and calm down before being able to say anything.
I might start preparing some meals for the week later today, because I start my evening course on Tuesday and will be out of the house form 9 to 9 so I have to prepare stuff that I can easily heat up in a microwave. I also bought chiaseeds that made up 1/12 of my £60 shop. I might make some chia pudding with frozen berries for tomorrow and prepare some burrito fillings. If you want the recipe google this: chia pudding with coconut milk, and then choose any link because all recipes are basically the same. The one for the burrito I got from a falafel place in Berlin, and the guy selling it told me what’s in it after I said it was the best thing I’ve ever eaten. It tastes just as well homemade! 🥙
I might go on a trip to Bath and Oxford next weekend, cause I wanna see more of the UK and wanted to go to Bath before so I guess now is a good time to do that. There’s also an offer to go to Paris for 4 days which would be fun, cause last time I was there, I was 14. And I already have a caption for an instagram in Paris: Mon dieu. Croissant. Fromage. That’s just how funny I am. I also have to go to London at least once while I’m here but I’m afraid I will spend all my money! And then there’s going to Germany of course in March!
I did not leave the house again and basically stayed in bed. I got up to get food tho obviously. I did make the most delicious burrito tho and now I’m happy and full! This is what you need:
- rice (I used brown basmati rice cause I had it ready from yesterday)
- black beans
- guacamole (I just mashed some avo and put lime and salt on it TEQUILA)
- sour cream (not vegan but I had it in my fridge)
- and a burrito wrap!
