So yesterday evening at around 4:30 I went outside and already saw the sky turning orange and the sun disappearing behind clouds. I was praying for it to be an amazing sunset cause what better way to end the week and start the internship!
So I walked along the promanade and watched a more and more people gathered around. And then this happened:
Today is my first day of my internship and I only had to be there at 1:30 so I had lots of time in the morning. I woke up and went outside. This time I chose to walk into the other direction towards Hove. And what do I find? Colourful little huts right next to the beach. Man I love Brighton.
Went to my internship place and got shown around the rooms and was shown what I’m going to be going the next months. Already met so many different cultures in just an hour. And funny thing the other intern working there is from Germany as well. So my first ”work day” was only an hour or so but from tomorrow on I’m gonna have an actual 9-5 job. I’m exited and kinda nervous because I was just told that I’m gonna have to promote an event and walk through the classrooms.. and actually talk in front of a class..ugh. We’ll see how that’s gonna turn out.
I also just got a rejection from the place I applied to in Germany for when I get back, so I have no idea what I’m gonna do after this internship.
To forget about all that sh*t I went outside for the sunset again, which basically didn’t exist today so I started taking pictures of the west pier and the birds, which didn’t quite turn out the way I wanted but still look kinda cool.
